I had watched The Blair Witch Project last night and I now see why people were raving about it so much in 1999. I was was just a kid when it came out and like most kids with scary movies, I was afraid of it. Now that I seen it, the opening title was creepy itself. The most original psychological horror movie I ever seen since Hostel and Halloween(the original, not the modern remake.)
I now consider this film Tarantino and Grindhouse worthy.
Kudos to Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sánchez for making this film.
Anyway, I made this mock movie poster for the film to honor this film.
It was a bunch of kids who knew nothing about being in wild forest after listening to a bunch of paranoid rednecks talk about delusions caused by misconceptions of witchcraft.
It was a great film!! It interested me in the first place when i heard that it was just all recorded on a hand cam, but after I watched it, I just thought it was so cool how they made the film and made it seem so real. A very unique and special horror.

Ehm no. They created the rumour that is was real in order to spread the hype. There is a lot improvisation in it though. It's certainly an unorthodox way of filming.
Best... Movie... EVAH! I just saw it last week. my first horror. So awesome. I just might hang those trinkets around just to scare people. The scariest scene by far was Heather's Apology. Just the look in her eyes gives me "Mini-seziures," or as refered to by StrongBad, the "Jibblies."
